We defined and managed delivery of a Data Analytics transformation program for this large US-based eCommerce client with $1.4B annual revenue.
Challenge
Zulily's ability to make data-driven business decisions was hampered by delivery bottlenecks in the analytics organization. They wanted to establish a robust data governance model and enable self-service analytics and reporting. They needed to migrate from a legacy data platform built on Tableau to a more modern, flexible platform built on Looker and Google Big Query.
Solutions
We instituted an iterative delivery approach that enabled us to drive a complex enterprise-wide change management and technical transformation process, frequently delivering value in digestible chunks. We engaged with the Zulily teams in a deeply integrated manner, performing the duties of digital product management, technical program management, change management leads, and agile coaches.
Results
Working with 25 teams across 12 business units, we successfully migrated to the new data platform and processes, clearing the path for data governance, data ownership, and self-service functionality.

We defined and managed a Digital Transformation program for this large quick service restaurant business with $2.5B annual revenue, driving alignment across business units.
Challenge
Zaxby's needed to undergo a rapid digital transformation to remain competitive in the quick-service restaurant industry and to support aggressive growth goals. They struggled with siloed partnerships between business units and the digital org, they did not have a rationalized product backlog which made it difficult to prioritize and communicate progress, and solution delivery was unreliable.
Solutions
Operating in a digital product management and program delivery capacity, we aligned business units (Marketing, Operations, Loyalty, Channel, etc) on a unified product definition and prioritization process, established and managed the product backlog, aligned internal and external engineering teams on the delivery cadence, and managed the agile delivery processes.
Results
We successfully created an aligned product roadmap that represented the needs of the various business units. We established processes that enabled clear communication and data-driven decisions, which we leveraged to drive delivery of Zaxby's most critical digital initiatives including re-designing and re-launching the mobile app, rolling out a new loyalty program, and updating the point-of-sale system.
